skimmer micro bubbles after 6 weeks!

Hi...

My skimmer is producing millions of microbubbles as soon as i make any adjustments to the airflow.
I have the rsm 130D with no mods.

I have to have the air vent fully open (loudest), if i adjust down a tiny bit to make the foam thicker, the bubbles start.
the tanks been running 6 weeks...

Is it something im doing or is it a fault with the skimmer.....

Cant help really, mines going full belt (air line fully open) and produces dry foam all the time. It sometimes over skims and produces micro-bubbles, but not very often.

I don't have it on all the time though as it skims the tank dry after about 6 - 7 hours.....mind you I have very light stock and feed lightly.
