hi this isto redsea steve really just over 12 months ago i had a rsm fully stocked and doing well then just over 8 months in the tank cracked got onto interpet and they replaiced straight away fantastic company to deal with and sorted me out sraight away:thumbsup:. know the problem is i have been trying to get intouch with someone as the replaicement tank i have had know for nearly 6 months but i am having problems with the lights and the hood. timer works fine but the bulbs keep flickering and going off and the blue moon leds seem to have a mind of there own and seem to come on and off when they want i have bought 2 new bulbs but they still flicker and go off some times for a few minutes upto a few hours and as i have some nice corals they are getting upset due to lights playing up hope to hear from u soon and thanks in advance:thanks::thanks:

Sounds like you may simply have a loose connection. If you go to www.redseamax.com there's instructions on how to easily open the hood. Take a look inside and if there's nothing evident, email Interpet's customer care. They will have a few questions for you but will have replacement ballast and LED driver available if its required.

i have had the hood apart and everything seems as it should i did look at the part about taking the hood apart from people also who had had the same problem i have emailed the customer care a couple of times but have had no response as of yet i also took hood apart as the fans were very noisey so took hood apart cleaned fans but to no avail still very noisey fans just didnt think i should have been suffering these probs on a tank that is less than six months old:thanks:

Drop me a PM with your address, phone number and email address. I am back in the UK tomorrow and will see if I can help you when I return. The fans should not be noisy after 6 months. I can easily sort this for you and want to get your lighting fixed at the same time.
