I had a dream this morning.
I was in college (again) doing another photography course, we went on a field trip, I came upon a really nice building shrouded in mist, so decided to take a really long exposure of the scene.
As I depressed the shutter release button, several flashes on the back screen occurred, as though laying down the image (just in Dye Sublimation printing).
Once the process of capturing the image was complete (this was a long exposure don’t forget), there was a short animated “film” of a Ferrari speeding along a road Along the A30 Past Maranello’s in Egham, this was the “ICON” to show the captured image was being TRANSFERRED to the memory card; HOW NEAT IS THAT AH?
This I think is the best bit.
I turned to a female colleague and said “that’s neat isn’t it” she replied “yeh, what is?” I answered her by explaining the voice on the camera just told me,
“Despite the image of the speeding Ferrari, the transfer rate on this particular camera is quite slow”.
This was a real dream, and I was quite amazed at the honesty of the camera, was the dream telling me I really DO NEED TO UPGRADE to the Canon 50 D? As I said it was a real dream, I woke up chuckling at what the camera had said to me. Alex
