Hi guys

First off, I hope everything's going better today than it did yesterday! :ermm:

I added my first drop of the Amino Acid concentrate last night and forgot to take a pic before I did so (didnt think I'd get results overnight), and today I can't believe the difference in the size of some of the corals! :funky:

If you don't mind, I'd like to put pics up here so you can see the progress of the tank while using this product :)

For those of you who don't know what on earth I am talking about, James told me about a 'wonder supplement' yesterday and I decided to give it a go...

Korallen-zucht Amino Acid Concentrate (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.korallen-zucht.de/&ei=FfvySdrQNIvQjAegoIjaDA&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dkorallen-zucht%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26channel%3Ds%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-GB:official%26hs%3DaCM%26sa%3DG)

I put one drop (1 drop per 25 gallons) in my tank last night and the difference from just under 24 hours is noticeable. The polyps are alot more open in some of the zoas, the duncans are expanding, as is my troubled hammer and I am gobsmacked to say the least!

So here are the progress pics starting today

Well the drops are still doing wonders for the tank. Even my skinny polyped hammer is puffing up nicely now.

FTS update bearing in mind the leather andthe acansare sulking due to my blenny knocking the acans as he turfed the leater out of its resting place

I've also moved a few corals into the other nano (which is now also being dosed with these drops) so it looks a bit empty in places at the moment. More room to fill up with more corals

Close up shots tomorrow :D

Wow ,the corals look so healthy and full  ,Just a word of caution tho ,dont over do it as I got a really bad case of cyano from adding to much AA ,if you start to see any sign of it ,stop dosing for a while then when its gone dose half of what you were originally dosing. Looking good tho :)

Fully agree. I don't dose AA but when I started dosing Pohls Extra (which contains AA) I was dosing the stated dose and started to see some Cyano appeared. I stopped using for 2 weeks and sucked out what I could and it has now gone. I now use half the daily dose every other day and it still has the same effect but without the cyno.
I'm also using KZ Coral snow, KZ Coral Vitalizer and KZ potassium iodide alongside the phols extra and my corals have never looked better and brighter and the coral snow has made my water like glass:thumbsup:

No cyano at all. In fact I've never had any in either tank. I only use one drop a day in this tank and one drop every 3 days in the 30L. I'll bear it in mind though, thanks. At the moment everything looks wonderful :D

are u using the rest of the zeolite system in your nano in the rear chambers? or r u just dosing this particular supplement?

im thinking of going the whole hog and use the whole zeo system.

I'm just dosing this particular supplement at the moment but will be trying zeolite and the supplement on my new tank - Project Edge :D

From just using the aminos I have noticed such healthy coral growth and colouration. A wonder product and I am so glad James mentioned it to me :D

I've since read that this zeolite stuff needs a good skimmer with it to make it work, so it won't be feasible with my tanks as I'm not skimming - yet. I do have a nano skimmer but want to get my ailing hammer back to full glory before trying it out properly.
