I have an MP20... well Jez has my MP20 as it needs replacing

I am now without any powerheads in my tank which is a little concerning. Therefore I'm thinking of purchasing a second MP20 to keep me going in the interim.

However, once my original MP20 is returned I'm thinking about running the two MP20s.

I know that the MP20's can be upgraded to MP40w using the upgrade kit, but I really don't need that much flow - I run the MP20 on a fairly low setting.

I have also seen advertised the following product "MP40 to MP40w Driver Upgrade Kit". This is quite a bit cheaper that the MP40w upgrade.

My question is, can these wireless upgrades be used to convert the MP20 to an MP20w or will it only work on the original MP40?

:thanks:

because the mp40w upgrades are £120 each, whereas the wireless only upgrade is £50 each :whistling:

HI
Sorry I missed this one, too busy arguing:rolleyes:

Anyway the board you talk about was available to upgrade the original non controllable mp40 gen 1.

If there is still one out there you would need to fit it, update to latest firmware.

You would then have an mp40 but the power supply is not the same as the MP20 so you would still need to upgrade that.

The board you speak of is not one we keep in stock any more and to be honest I would probably have to request it from the US if its still available as a separate product.
