Question regarding plug bars and dosing pumps on the Profilux Plus II EX

I’m thinking about purchasing one of these babies, but to be honest I’m a bit confused on the whole Ls/Ss/Rs thing about all the expansion slots.

I want to run two digital power bars and a set of dosing pumps, however the spec seems to indicated that the unit has the ability to run the power bars or the dosing pumps, but not both at the same time?!?

Is that right?

no, you can chain the digital power bars and the dosing pumps. Your combination will be fine.

It's the analogue bars that need a dedicated socket. The dosing pump defaults to behaving as an analogue bar but can be change to digital mode.

I have two digital plugbars and two sets of dosing pumps - all daisy chained together. No problems at all.

thanks guys - the website says :

1 x S1/S4 - Socket outlet port - to connect either 1 x 4 socket Analogue power bar or up to 4 Digital power bars or dosing pumps.

hence my confusion :)
