How precise is the Alk test kit ?????

The Alk Test Kit is extreme precise
after so much issues with the normal test i decide to make one which showed
defenitly correct results
The normal part it shows on 0,5 dkH

Just tried the new Alk test this evening,
Very nice.

Things i liked about the test were:
1: good quality syringe for inital amount of tank water (no air bubble or gaps)
2: great quality glass vial for viewing
3: perfect dropping bottle!

The dropping bottle makes so much difference, you can feel it in you fingers.
you need to press the bottle (not hard) , but actually press it. the bottle doesn't "weep" like others and the droplet is very clean. no extra waste around the tipp of the bottle / drips etc. and droplet size was even and consistent.

Read lower than my salifert by 0.5kh. but in line with another kit so i'm inclined to believe the Fauna Marin kit far more.
Colour change was definate, and happened in one clean droplet, dark blue to pale yellow.

Large vial makes it that much easier to see this change take place and also mixes the solution between droplets effortlessly.

Was impressed with the kit overall and think it's definately worth using.
Will us it solely from now on....

Had a chance to test one against some high end lab tests Hach and Machery Nagel and get identical readings from the high priced lab kits so good news and a gold start for Claude.
