URGENT HELP !!!!! Vortech owners

HI all

After just cleaning my vortech, it has stop working with flashing green and red lights. I have checked the the magnets, pinspacers, propeller and everything is ok.

As you'll probably know from the manual that Red and Green flashing is the error code for stall condition. If you have tried....In the event of a motor stall, the pump may have stopped for a few possible reasons. You should first check that there is not something blocking the propeller from spinning. Next, check to make sure the magnets are not rubbing on either the pin spacer or the frame cover.....Only a suggestion but have you tried switching off the power, unplugging from power supply then plug it back in again after a minute or two to see if it resets?

Failing that, I dont know. Maybe someone else who has had a similar problem and managed to solve it will help you out.

Right I have left a message on his mobile number, perhaps the wet side has given up !!!

Even if I leave the nut slightly loose, as the prop spins the nut tightens up against it.

Problem solved, magnet on wet side was stuck to the wet frame

Glad it is now working but I would like to say that we are recieving quite a few misassembled wetsides back.

It would seem prudent to advise users to have a look at the assembly instructions in the manual and other resources on the Ecotech Marine site. Before attempting a full breakdown of the pump.
