Just purchased a used rsm, but have no media, what do you reccomend? buying the original rsm media, or creating your own ?? :thanks:

Is it the 130 or 250?

If it's any help, I'm just using the Black sponge that sits over the skimmer pump.

I have the bag of carbon for "just in case" moments I don't use the ceramic noodles and I just removed the LR rubble I had in the last chamber as I have enough in the main display now.

I have some filter wool that I use occasionally to "polish" the water.

The above info would apply to either the 130 or the 130D.
