OK, I finally took the jump from Aquatronica to GHL but I'm stuck.

I haven't got a clue how to drive this baby. I've read the manual, and still I'm totally lost.

Can someone help me with:
1. Programming the weather stick for moonlighting
2. An auto top up with two level sensors (one in tank for level, one in reservoir to protect the pump if empty.

Also got a dimmable DALI ballast. Can understand the wiring diagram on the casing, but how do the wires fit into the connectors?? Is it from the top, side, or do I need to do something else.

I'd consider myself quite good with gadgets, software, etc but this system has got me absolutely stumped :confused::confused:

Thanks
Andy

Go back to 'tronica andy. You can swap mine for your GHL if you like ;) (I can't work either out so makes no difference to me......) :D

check out my GHL blog on my web site, that has helped many.

Loads and loads of screen grabs, you need to have a pc connected to your GHL to really benefit though.

hi all,

had a read through craigg's guide, thanks for that :) also spoke to steve at reefdreams when ordering some other items, which proved most helpful

with regards to my problems, i have resolved both.

i didn't understand that L1 = Illumination 1, L2 = Illumination 2. obvious once you know it, but hey ho.

steve also explained that for the top up, as with may things you program the settings and then assign the socket plug to do that control. i was also thrown a little that although it's called the 'level' program, it shows as 'water' when selecting a socket

once i understood the logic i was doing fine - now have the level managed through programmable logic

dali ballast aren't wired in yet, but think i know what i'm doing.

do have a question about the optical level sensor - does it have to be in the light? it's in my lit sump but will it still work if the sump light is off??

:thanks:
