These are the details of the new digital analogue input card from GHL. For those that want to add additional sensors that currently GHL do not supply. It's an open interface that you can DIY your own sensors to, as long as they fit the spec below:
The card has inputs for 2 analogue signals and 4 digital inputs which can be run with a common ground. All connections are isolated from the Profilux itself.
Requirements:
A free expansion slot
Firmware 4.07 or later, the firmware must be updated BEFORE installing the expansion card.
The voltages and signals can be accessed using the western plug or the enclosed SUB-D9 adaptor
The pin connections for the connections are as follows:
Pin1 Auxillary voltage +10v
Pin2 Digital input 1
Pin3 Digital input 2
Pin4 Digital input 3
Pin5 Digital input 4
Pin6 Analog input 1
Pin7 Analog input 2
Pin8 Ground GND
Pin 9 of the SUB-D9 plug is unassigned, Pin 1 at the Western socket is the lower one.
Technical Data:
Analog input, resistance ca. 20 kOhm, voltage range 0V to 10V
Digital Input, Input resistance ca. 100 kOhm, is to be switched to Ground GND
Auxillary voltage 10V: can be loaded with a max 10 mA
Obviously this will appeal to the DIY experts only, but opens the door to flow meters, leak detectors, door contacts, additional level sensors and fire/smoke detectors etc.
They will retail for around £64.99
