Tec III NG - EP II

Hi

Can you help me please?

I purchased the TEC III NG and the EPII extension last week

I've set it over the weekend and the TEC III is working fine

However Im having issues with the EP II Extension

I have followed the installation manual numerous times, the TEC 111 sometimes picks up that the EP is attached, however when i go to program pump 4, I go through the motions, and save it, however the device does not function at all..ie it does not activate the pump and draw any liquid out

Any ideas to fix this?

Email back from Thomas at Grotech he reckons its a connection problem he says to try disconnecting and reseating the lead.

Hi jez,

Yes Ive tried that a number of times now..still the same issue..sometimes it picks up that the device is connected and lets you programme it but it stilll does not active the device(ie it does bugger all!)

would it be the actual device or the cable thats connects them that could be the issue or both?

Should I go back to the shop I bought it fron (Charterhouse Aquatics)?, and get them to swap the device over?

Spoke with Charterhouse just waiting to see if its easier to swap the lead for you or just get the old pump back and send a new one.
