Bought a redsea 130 max ,, under 1 year old ,, having problems with the heater , i contacted interpet customer service ,first by email ,with no luck them by telephone ,,waited just under 20 mins to get connected,,, they told me that they would not deal with myself nor honour the waranty as the original tank was bought by the chap that i bought the tank from ,, news to me , i thought that they waranty would be valid via the serial numbers on the RSM ,,, so if you are thinking of buying a 2nd hand RSM and one of the features is that its under a year old ,,,be warned ,, you would have to try and get the person who bought the RSM in the first place to do all the work ,,,,,,,, to top the phone call from interpet after i explained it all and the serial number thing again,, i was cut off ,, first call service,,,:D:D:D

sound ... ive also emailed the redsea rep,,,,, corals are looking poor,, temp goes up and down 22- 27 cant be good for the corals or fish ,, lost so xenia so far ,,,,, i have the heater set in the mid of 24-26 ,,,,,,,:o

Yip that's where I had mine set to - I had my chiller linked up too thoso no probs with temb - sounds like you could have a thermostatprob tho? Does it just swing up after lights on or is it all over the place all the time ?

its up and down like a yoyo all the time ,,,, i got a message from red sea rep ,to copy and send over to interpet ,,, see if that works ,,,,,???

might take them 5 days to reply ???? going to add a normal heater to see how things go ,,cheers might strike a deal for your RSM heater :D:D

Emailed Steve Halls from RedSea ,,, he is on his holidays in France, he has taken the time to phone interpet ,after interpet saying NO to a replacement heater ,, i am now getting a new heater sent out from interpet ,, fantastic service from steve at RedSea,,, not many people i know would help you out while on holiday ,,,, many thanks Steve,,,,,,, just see how long it takes for the heater to get to me ,, TANK TEMP 27.5 , heater still set between 24-26 ,,,
