View Full Version : Australian orange torch
Hi received torch this morning - unfortunately not in a good way. Packaging was fine, frag was triple bagged but the water had leaked and what was left was like a fog soup :( Frag is now in the tank, has been for approx an hour, with no sight of polyp extension. Haven't given up hope yet. Will let you know this afternoon, fingers crossed

ps the poly box didn't leak with all that tape you put round it

Hi
it's now 4:40 and still no sign of life - have you ever had a torch coral take this long to come out? I know none of the other euphyllias i have, have acted in this way, all have been out within minutes.
just hope you say you have seen it happen before with a happy ending!?
Seffie
Did you take any pictures?

That's what I meant originally. Proof of the damaged packaging. I had to take some pics of some stuff I received (from a member on here, not a sponser) that the Royal Mail decided to play football with.
Luckily the corals were ok despite loosing the water out of the bags.
They have been really good about the problem and are sending me a replacement next week - can't praise them enough, I will certainly buy from them again with that kind of customer service

Mark's not working this weekend so it might be an idea if you ring and ask to speak to Alex or email the shop direct as it might not get picked up on time otherwise.
