This expansion box connects to the PAB (Profilux Aquatic Bus) connection on the Profilux III. The connection cable can be 100m long if required!

This unit represents incredible value for money and is perfectly suited for people with multiple tanks or remote sumps.

The expansion box has the following ports:
2 x level ports
1 x Temp port
1 x pH port
1 x Redox port
1 x Conductivity/salinity port
4 x 1-10V ports
2 x PAB sockets
5 x spare slots that can be filled with dual mode cards making the box equipped to expand to a further 10 utilities

Am I right in thinking that there will be other expansion boxes available in the future with fewer/no items built in?

I know that this current unit is fair value for money given all the probe attachments/variable voltage outputs, but for those of us with the II ex we already have many of these items and don't need to duplicate them.

I was considering automating elements of my water change rountine which is done in another room from the GHL - so would need level sensors, temp probes, and a a plug bar connected the expansion box and nothing else.

The current version £256 is a bit excessive for what I'd be using it for... so if you can get Matthias knock something up for around £100 with the features I need, that would be great ;)

im assuming that these aren't available now, seeing as PIII's aren't out yet...so im guessing we'll see these feb/march?

Andy, there will be an empty box just with expansion card slots, that is due around March time.

Trev, We have these expansion boxes on order, they should be coming with the other P3 bits.
