As above really, just a few pics of my recent trip to the lake district. Just need help finishing the pictures. At the moment they have only been resized. My friend has photoshop so i can use that to polish them up.
So any advice greatfully recieved.

I'd probably crop a little off the bottom, the water between the lilies and the bottom of the frame is a little distracting.
Then adjust a tone curve a little, boost the lights, drop the darks.. this generally increases the visual depth of the picture (digital images are always a little flat).
Great shot with the mist.. maybe a touch of vibrance boost to pick out the purple on the island.

I might crop a little off the right to remove the two smaller yachts. Other than that.. great shot..

Tone curve as per the first image.. perhaps a negative exposure gradient to enhance the detail in the clouds.

This is nice as it is.. try the tone curve but you don't want to lose that nice softness from the mist.

Lovely shot.. I'd leave it as it is.
oops, don't think I'm meant to post!
Why not Kae? Critique is open to everyone.
Thanks Alastair, i'll give it a go later, then only have a couple of hundred more to sort out.
Hey, i'll try to comment on them all in due course, starting with #1 - you have blown the sky on what i presume was a grey day? Otherwise a nice pic. One of the things you could do is add a subtle sky, in keeping with the day (i've done a really quick example). Or, in hindsight, you could capture sky detail with HDRi techniques.

The second is too cold, with this one i've straightened the horizon, warmed it up with a filter (and removed the swans - for fun ...)

The third one just needed the foreground brightening up

This one just needs to be made more punchy as already said. Fiddling with the tone curves and sharpening up the image makes it more definative.

The last one is fine, nice capture :)
Thanks for that Paul it does make them look more natural, i'm gonna keep the swans though. The first suggestion with the lillies really improves the shot and lighting the forground adds alot of depth.
