Hi Iboco

Funny one this - the nutrient feed is a freebie to start with. So same price. Would you like a different freebie such as a food/flake sample? Let me know.

Cheers

Hi Fugu,
Should I expect dark green culture in 10days? I have started from nannochloropsis disc. Lighting 64000k full spectrum energysaving bulb.
Thanks

Hi Iboco - under correct conditions this can be expected especially with correct fertiliser dosing, no contaminants, sterilised vessel, tube, and water without any chlorine residues. Some new cultures can take longer to develop and will gradually become established; if it looks like the culture has a build up of dead cells at the bottom of the culture just leave these behind when you decant to a new vessel. If completely clear something has definitely gone wrong. Try and avoid setting up rotifers above, or right next to a phyto culture as you're just asking for trouble. Hope that helps. Cheers
