1 TMC aquaray + 130d t5's = Shimmer effect ?

Hi wanting to create the shimmer effect on my 130d, will 1 aquaray white and blue create a good shimmer of am i best off getting a duo?

Hi, IMHO you will get a better shimmer effect with a twin. I have three over my 130D 2x blue and 1x blue and white. Even so once the main T5 s come on the shimmer is considerably reduced. Hope this helps.

I brought a second hand reef white Aquaray ( 2x blue & 3 x white led's) and it did provide a good shimmer but it didnt cover the whole area of the 130d so didnt bother installing it in the end. Maybe the newer version will cover a larger area but I aint forking out all that money to see. I'll stick to my t5's.
