Looking at making a sump and have viewed quite a number of posts butstill baffled wiht the various designs.
What do I need in a sump? Pump and skimmer go without saying but it's how to lay it out. I've seen pics with glass partitions all over the place with water going under/over/through and outside the sump. What does all this do? What other things are needed? and why?
Also is there a basic ration between main tank and sump?
