dont know how many i can post for you guys but heres a few of my fav ones from years of going to zoos and stuff. feel free to comment good or bad as i feel its the only way to learn. with the exception off the leopard (which only had levels) these pics are out of camera as even though i have most of the photoshops i rearly use them. i feel if ya cant get it out of camera then keep trying. remember most of these are also threw glass!!!!

Some lovely shots!

For me, I'd say they all need a touch of sharpening (as loss of fine detail is caused by the sensor filters on digital cameras, so a touch of sharpening is always needed).
Not a fan of the whitewash effect, but the animal ones are great. Love being able to see into their eyes!

:thanks:geee thanks guys :o:thumbsup::dance: i thought i was going to get told all sorts of horrors :D

i do love the big cats too ...as you can prob tell. i sit for hours at the zoo in front of them for the shot i want.

Lovely, where'd you capture the snow leopard.

that shot was from a zoo called marwell down near southampton in the south. in fact i think most of them were from there almost. it was the hotest day on record and all the aminals were doing things even there keepers were saying "i never seen them do that before" like a tigar who laid right in the middle of his man made lake so i could get some lovely refecltion shots of him. they have a large enclosure for snow leopards. last time i went they only had one i could see but on this day they had 3 or 4 in there. only prob is they seam to use a very blue type glass thats very thick so gives the pics a colour cast sometimes.
:thanks::thanks::wub::wub::thanks::thanks: for all your great comments.

hi key....hmm you either love it or hate it i quess. i personaly like it in this photo but not normally a fan but i am bias on this one:thumbsup:

sometimes i think they just got the exposure wrong and liked the result but i did try to get this pic buy spot metering on the brown of the dog which blew the rest out. it was a very bright day and the sand was reflecting the sun very well so it did what i wanted it to for once. thanks for ya comments
