I think that Brine Shrimp Decapsulation shouldnt happen in tank water and you shouldnt recycle owing to the polution you could get in the process.
Can you let us know your thoughts on this please?
Thank you

From a practical point of view the design is probably limited to use in a hobby tank, school project, demo. Not an all singing and dancing carefully controlled reef tank.
Commercially its probably cheap to make, buy, use, and shelve if necessary. I've yet to see/try one but I guess some people get by on them. No doubt on a small scale hatch the waste levels are not excessive, but you are also potentially installing a warm, well aerated bacteria culture vessel - in your tank.
A useful eye opener would be to see the levels of dissolved organics and bacterial populations generated from an equivalent cyst number and hatch volume done outside a tank. A search on vibrio affecting human health may also be a good one to check. The user will have to remember to clean the device on a regular basis.
I'm going to have get some bacterial test slides in now aren't I......?!

Thats it, thanks for reminding me your a star
Completely forgot about why and it was Vibrobacteria!!!!
Now a while ago a had a lengthy discussion with *cough* Tim Hayes when I was looking at all this autonymous feeding lark and one of the topics that came up was vibrobacteria
Now there are many trains of thought saying fish lack the complex digestive system in order to be impacted but there is nothing to say what an impact vibrobacteria has on the various other bacteria in the tank such as Nitrosomonas. Again Tim hadn't done any tests but the best way we both agreed feeding antonymously was via way of food that was in suspension that was freeze tried or in a jelly based solution(you might remembering about me asking whether the zm stuff was strong enough to penetrate surface water or if it needed suspension in agar jelly).
Still I made my own food and indeed kept it in cold conditions. It gave an awful smell though after a few hours and the skimmer went mad.
Seriously mate, one of the few people on the board that I appreciate. Hope you renew your membership :)

Cheers Andy - no worries there's always something new to learn on UR; I found about claying today.
It's easy to be slapdash with food, hygiene, and not be aware of the consequences. I was clearing up some frozen artemia left out overnight (by some urgit at a previous job) and had an immediate allergic head to toe skin reaction to whatever developed in the beaker overnight and had to be treated with anti histamines. Fish TB is another thing to watch out for especially if you have any open cuts on your hands/arms. I've also heard of one unfortunate case of testicular cancer being attributed to a violent grass carp taking exception to being netted on a farm..... but that's another story.
Cheers
