pump question

this is probably a daft question but can you tell me the expected lifespan of the circulation pumps in a rsm 130. the reason I ask is that in my local lfs the flow from the pumps "appears " greater than in mine. Do the impellers actually wear out or does flow naturally reduce over time . they are cleaned regularly so this is not reducing flow and I only use polyfilter occasionally for polishing water so water flow is not impeded, :thanks:

The impellers should last min 12 months although they should be inspected for damage (such as scoring caused by sand etc) if the flow appears to be dropping.
