View Full Version : MP40W stalling and turning off
Jez
Can you help, I have replaced the wet side twice and done the config twice and yet my MP40W still keeps turning itself off. Can you please pm your address so I can send it to you for repairs/ replacement of defected parts.
Thanks
George
How long was it after you changed the wet side did it start to happen again? I had a similar problem and Jez sent me the replacement bearing/prop etc and it solved the problem.
To get you through the Xmas period if it is the bearing issue then you can put the bearings in the oven on 200 deg c for an hour to 'dry' them out.

Could I do that with my old one then or will the fact I have had it out of water for a couple of weeks mean it would be ok to use now?

It wouldn't hurt to stick it in with the turkey (save on the gas/leccy) and dry it out thoroughly as a spare. :D

Not sure the mother in law would approve
HI
As you are local we can sort this quickly via one of the Kent LFS
let me know which one you use.
