Your tank has to be voted in by other members then if you get enough votes you are lucky and chosen, its not a self enter situation.

sorry i disagree with that statement. I put forward a totm and pm'd maidstone,never got a reply. So even if you put somebodys tank up you dont know if it fell at the pm or voting stage.

I don't think he does reply otherwise some months he could be there all day.

I am sure maidstone does not reply to the Pm's but if i am wrong someone will say, i am sure he did add you vote to the list.

Sorry you lost me, what is the difference between the PM and the voting stage.:confused:

Every PM is added to a spreadsheet by Maidstonemarine, the PM is your vote.

He does not reply to PM's, you cast a vote and await the announcment of TOTM.

You've found the way of voting for your tank! May I suggest that you create a thread in members tank forum too. I can see that you've got an album of images for your tank but it'll get more exposure (and potentially votes!) if it's featured in other parts of the site as well.

I got your vote (sent Jan 10th, 2010) and it was added to the totm spreadsheet! For what it's worth... it's an excellent vote and I'm sure in time it'll feature in the TOTM Forum.

Some days I don't get any votes... other days I get a stack load and have to keep clearing out my inbox! When and where appropriate and possible I do like to send a PM of thanks to the person contributing the vote but I can't 100% say that I respond to them all - yours included sorry!

Seriously? Come on... there's nothing wrong with that at all. Maybe I'm seeing things differently but that's a typically formatted reponse to a question. Without wanting to teach you to suck eggs and all that.... if you're taking offence at that kind of response you're in for a rough ride!
