Hi,

I have a thread in the marine breeding section regarding my watchman gobies that laid eggs and are getting close to hatching.

I have some roti and copepods to start them on, but would like some suggestions for dry food alternatives as the rotis and copepods are intended for the mandarin in one tank and the sea horses in the other ...

I assume a started of ZM100?
But could do with some advice, such as ZM100 for 2 weeks, then when they approx Xmm, start them on ....

These will be my first marine fish to breed.

Many thanks

Eaval

Hi Eaval,

I've seen the pics and it all looks good! The ZM-100 has particles down to 100 microns and smaller than rotifers and therefore a practical option as a first feed. With fry 4+ feeds a day will be appreciated. The ZM-200 is normally only used once the fry can happily take newly hatched brineshrimp. WestMallingReef has been running some breeding trials with gobies and the ZM-100 has been offered as food patches on the water surface alongside cultured rotifers.

See the following link for the fry food options available:

It'll be too late to ship any today but we can ship on Friday.
