Skimmer question for a newbie.

Hi Pequod1971,
I would set a good air full into the skimmer until you get a bubble interface about 1/2" above the water, dirty foam will collect and push the foam into the collection cup this is not a constant stream as once the waste has been removed the skimmer will settle back to just clean water bubbling.
