Hi,
I had the problem with the return pump on Sunday.
Thank you for your assistance, both over the phone at 4:15 on a Sunday and also instore. I must admit to being impressed by your stock selection and amazed of the number of stores that don't stock return pumps!!
More worryingly, the number of staff at other shops that whilst I admit to it being a Sunday, didn't know what a return pump was ...
Thank you for all your help and assistance and I am glad to report that there has not been any casualties. I checked the O2 when I got in which my shiny new test kit, even with no return pump and hence no skimmer for 4 hours, the O2 level was still 5ppm.
I need to get an adapter for the Eheim pump though ... its massively larger than the old soft pipe for the Ocean Runner. Plus with it being so much smaller, I have had to put an empty box underneath the pump so that it reaches the return pipe.
