I might try and set up the GHL-3 in a day or 2.
I want to run auto top from a solenoid/Ro unit into a glass ro tank.
I also want to top up a 1000L GRP sump from this glass tank.
Just wondering....
1) How well does the contactless sensor work?. How thick glass?. Should you also have a second level sensor too in case of failure?. Does it work through GRP, or is that a silly question?.
2) Can you use 2 splitters and have 4 level sensors on the GHL 3?.
I want to let the RO tank run to a low level and then switch the solenoid on to fill the RO tank from the RO unit until it reaches the top level sensor and switches off. This way The RO unit will come on once every few days, rather than repeatedly when the ro level drops below the top level sensor.
I also want to top up the GRP sump from the RO tank. Do I need a failsafe level sensor to back up the optical one or do these not fail?.
How can I program the GHL to switch the solenoid on only when the lower level sensor activates and not when the top one does, but also switch off only when the top level sensor activates and not the bottom one?
