Firmware upgrade problem

Hi All

I have just upgraded my Gen 1 to Gen 2 (also upgaded the wetside)...

Before the upgrade the MP40w was working fine (if a little noisy), I did the upgrade and all the LED's said it went through a ok, however, I now have a solid red light on the upgraded pump :(

This happen to anyone? Any ideas on causes &/or solutions?

From the ecotech site it states:

Flashing Red/White or Solid Red - an upgrade error has occurred. Contact EcoTech Tech Support directly for assistance.

Yeah, saw that after I posted the thread... Have sent a PM to Jez so hopefully he'll be able to tell me something!

Anyone had the problem & know a cure in the meantime??

whats the difference between a gen 1 and gen 2 wetside??

Main physical difference is that the nut on the propellor is silver on Gen 1 while it's black (plastic coated?) on Gen 2

I THINK that's how you tell anyway ;)
