I bought my MP40W just before Xmas, it's now been on thetank aa little over a 2weeks and it's soo noisy, not vibration just the motor whirl, I can hear it upstairs. Does anyone else have this problem with it?

Mine is also very noisy. It was replaced about 12 months ago and the 2nd one is just as bad now. Im waiting to see if anything can be done before i offer it in the swaps section.

My MP40W G2 is noisey so far but it's only been running 4 days....It's definately the dry side that's noisiest but even on constant speed is seems to be "revving" slightly - like it's not constant in revolution. The wetside noise is getting less as the pump beds in I think....

I have no noise from the wetside just an awful noise from the dryside

HI
Obviously make sure that the pump is aligned and set up properly with correct spacer setting etc.

Manually align the pump until its a quite as you can get . I usually do this in green mode on full power.

As you slide the wetside around you will find a sweet spot that has least vibration and noise, once found leave along and allow the pump to bed in that possition the sensor will make adjustments and create a simple profile of that pump geometry.

If all else fails come back to me and we will see what can be done.

Got 2 of them and both dry sides were really noisey until I set them to correct pin spacing.
I have 10mm glass and first set them to 1/2 inch, now have them on 3/8 and much better, but you can still hear them hum.
