Any ideas????

Would it go straite into feed mode from powering up??
Is there any way of cancelling feeding mode if thats what it could be.
Ill leave it running for 10 mins and see!
aint feed mode a flashing white led??
Feed mode is a white pulsing light, have you had the wetside apart?
nope not took anything apart just cleaned the glass behind the pump.
Have you got a battery back up?
IIRC battery back up mode flashes green.
nope no back up. there is nothing in the manual about it
beats me then
knew feeding mode was a flashing light but didn't notice what colour lol
guess you've tried disconnecting and reconnecting power?
hope you get it going
dav

Have you tried recalibrating it? if you look on the ecosmart website there is a video on how to do this
Plugged it back in this morning and still the same.
No have not tried that, do you have a link?
Sorry mate not to hot with posting links, i can't even start a sales thread because i can't upload a piccie:laugh::laugh:, but if you google"how to calibrate an mp40" you will find an ultimate reef link at the top of the pasge all you need id there:wave:
Im still having the same trouble with the vortech.

in the manual theres something about holding buttons down to reset the firmware i think they should have details on the manufactorers site
Could not find it in the manual about resetting, anyways have recieved some parts to change so will see if that fixes it.
report back on monday when i get home, working away arggghhhhh
