Flow through a ZEOVIT reactor

As we all know, the flow through a zeo reactor is quite critical.
If you can get a 1 litre jug under the outflow and time how long it takes to fill, you can work out the flow per hour. This chart might save you some calculations.

1 litre jug fills in 2 seconds..................................1800 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 3 seconds..................................1200 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 4 seconds....................................900 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 5 seconds....................................720 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 6 seconds....................................600 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 7 seconds....................................514 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 8 seconds....................................450 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 9 seconds....................................400 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 10 seconds..................................360 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 11 seconds..................................327 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 12 seconds..................................300 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 13 seconds..................................276 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 14 seconds..................................257 litres/hour
1 litre jug fills in 15 seconds..................................240 litres/hour

I hope it helps

atb, steve

Seems a great idea, I have spent loads of time working out how long my glass takes to fill to give me the flow rate I need
You could extend the list as I only need 160 litres per hour although you can easily work it out by dividing your figures it maybe useful for some, thanks for this Miles.

Many thanks for that. Not all of us are great at working these things out so it helped me.

A quick formula for the above (assuming using a 1 ltr jug) is

3600/seconds taken to fill jug = ltrs per hour

i.e. 8.57 seconds would be

3600/8.57=420 lph
