probably somewhere in the region of £60,000 upwards
if you look at Imperator the 3rd's build, his is smaller and was about £30,000-45,000

hmm you were not far out there, under the first project management team it was upto about £50,000 but then everyone saw what you got for that sort of money (my house almost collapsing and the aquarium base piers being directly built onto wood flooring).

So, now getting some of the best names in the business to do it, has added on another £25,000 but its being done right and its going to be awesome. Some of this is a bit over the top and could be cut back on, but its what I want.

Some of the additonal costs were 5k for the cupboards underneath (remember its 20ft long) 5K for the frame for it to go on rather than piers and the steels were 3 times too small for it as well!!, 3k for electrical work as against 1.5k where they hadnt allowed for the 10 radions. There is stuff going in the fish room which I want to remain a surprise that is completely un-nessary which was another 5k, and various other things which you would will be surprised all start to add up.

I guess the main problem was, the original job was well under quoted for in the first place, and you get what you pay for, and paying peanuts gets you monkeys and all that.

Just wait until its upgraded to 20ft x 20ft x 4ft in a few years

this is why I wanted to do 20ft x 2ft x 4ft first, just to see whats involved, as you sure wouldnt want to get the second big project wrong, as thats going to be like in excess of 30,000 litres..
