Kenya Tree corals
Hi,
LFS has got a few of these in and they look lovely. But I cant find anything on them in my books. LFS is not much help with this either. I have 6 55W T5's and was wondering if they would be ok under them and wehre abouts on the rock work would you put them? Lee |

Look up capnella, you may find more info that way
From the stm website http://www.stm-shop.co.uk/acatalog/O...Corals_18.html Capnella Kenya Tree Coral Capnella A great soft coral hardy, likes good flow and moderate lighting. We always keep large numbers of these soft corals in stock. Ideal for beginners.

they grow in my tank like a weed, i literally have to trim and frag them down once a fortnight to be able to see my other corals. i would say moderate light, low to moderate flow but in reality, mine have self propogated 50 times over and are growing everywhere, right under halides, down the bottom, behind rocks in the dark, everywhere.

I agree - I have one that grows about an inch a fortnight. I normally let it get pretty big then lop off a branch and trade the big bit. The bit I now have is a frag of a frag of a frag of a frag - and it was a frag when I bought it!
Mine's a gold one - anyone got anyother coloured ones that they'd be interested swapping by mail? |

mmmm - sounds interesting! - not sure how well xenia travels though....
Give me a week or two and I'll do you a 2" frag of gold bush and a 10 head frag of red sea xenia (each attached to rock) for a bit of pink and a bit of purple - deal? Last edited by clippo; 25-10-06 at 13:06. |
