between you pair you have nearly wiped me out , Ill be adding about a billion copepods to the new tank to help start things!

I could only get 4 sockets in instead of the 6 but i can add some more to the other end if needed, wired to the first socket with 1.5mm 3 core then from socket to socket with 1.5mm singles.

The skimmer is a turbo floater blue 1000.

Next thing im going to try to attept is the doors and stuff, not looking forward to this as i have never done anything like it before so any suggestions would be great!

Was thinking of using my left over ply to make some doors for the front and see how it looks, if it looks crap ill clad around the doors with thin ply, but hopefully the cabinet wont even be noticed due to my tank been class

You may have the problem of them warping over time mate....once moisture gets to them they go callywamp !

Ok, next update....

I scrapped the idea of above, mainly because it was a pain in the arse to get it to look good. So this is what i have done...





Piece of removeable ply thats on magnet catchies , personally i think this way it looks really neat and as you can compeltly remove it and work on the sump with ease.

All thats left to do now is paint it (i have bought some black gloss) and fit my kitchen door chrome handles , oh and drill the holes for the pipework

I have Al yeah, literally i have just bought them! Bugger.

That was yesterdays attempt. Just finished off what i started yesterday, then im giving it another coat tommorow then that should be it!
