Duncan dying fast HELP!

Just noticed my lovely duncan seems to be dying. Sorry for the poor pics but it looks like something is munching it although I am not sure. It has like little yellow bits all over it and in the areas where its dead. Seems to have happened over the last 8 hours so I need to act quick before it all dies!

temp 26
1.026
am = 0
nitrite = 0
nitrate = 4
phos = 0.08
mg = 1350
cal = 420
kh = 8
ph = 8

All other corals are fine even the other duncan. If it is something munching then I can coral rx it but need advice before I do.

Thanks!

I had a problem with my Duncan coral so I made a frag rack out of egg crate and placed it in there, so far it has been doing well, event grown a few extra heads
Do you have hermit crabs or any other clean up crew that might annoy it?

thanks guys. Phos is fine m8 its 0.03 (D-D) but I use red sea which seems to always read 0.08.

I have had it for months, it was one of my first corals. Feed it all the time and it has grown like crazy.

Looks to me as if the little yellow things are munching it but they could also be the flesh dying.

what else could munch on it?

Flow.

I lost my one over the space of a couple of days when I changed over to higher output powerheads. I was growing like crazy too.

Dip it in Coral RX and place it somewhere sheltered.

if it was flow then surely it would have done this ages ago? Not saying you are wrong but nothing has changed its been in the same spot for months with the same flow. Do they just decide they don't like it and die?

If nothing has changed I stumped.

I know my one did exactly the same as yours appears to be doing. Closed up and every head seperated from the skeleton. Heart breaking to watch.

I would still dip the Duncan though.

yeah thanks m8 I have dipped it.

It seems to be dying from the centre of the branch and moving upwards towards the head. A couple of heads are just hanging with no body and I guess these will just die.

should I chop all that branch off or leave it? (first pic)

Anyone else help?

anyone help with this? Its still dying I don't know if I should cut the bad branch off to try and stop it spreading.

The flesh on the branches is dying and turning like brown goo.
