Hard to describe, not as fine as sugar but finer than the TMC stuff, if that makes sense.

Is it the sort of sand that can be added to an existing system, or is it likely to be overly cloudy?
It can be added to a running system but it would go cloudy which will last 24 hrs tops, I have topped up mine in a couple of places where the flow moved it about.
You could add it over the course of a few days to lessen the cloudiness.

I used the dry version, not the 'live', rinsed in RO water first, it will be fine with the fish, just don't dump it all in at once.

this made me chuckle as am trying to imagine a mini Rattters reef
Well done! Also love the clean white sand, I don't think I've EVER had clean sand if the first 10 mins of putting it in doesn't count...

Thanks Alison, I added 3 more Conch last week to help keep the sand turned over, thats 6 I have now.

Scott as in vikky~scott came over yesterday to help with the mini rescape of the r/h side, I say mini but it has made a huge difference imo, basically we removed 95% of the Echno, (some nice bits for sale in the classifieds ), added a few kilos of rock, and moved the green Acro from centre stage that was blocking the light to those underneath!

This is how it looked......

And this is tonight........

along with the green acro in question....

As always, thanks for dropping by, any comments, good or bad welcome.

Looks bloody brilliant imo,you forgot to mention that fiddly little purple milli that took longer to sort out than the green acro. The green stag is now visible and do i see huge green milli visible too

Seriously though time will reveal what we did more than a picture,it was soooo needed and the shadowed sps will thank you,can i feel some shopping coming on for tommorrows wee roadtrip?
