TMC V2 Ozone generator

Hi folks, had an aqua digital unit which is now out of order, so looking for a new unit, been searching around various makes and models and really like the look of the TMC unit, has anyone got and using this, if so, whats your opinion, thanks guys, Karen x

Probably a daft question but i have not seriousely looked into these but where do they get connected to? is it the skimmer? do you need one that is ozone compatible?

yes & yes

the skimmer pulls in a mixture of air and ozone (from the ozone unit)

if your skimmer is not ozone friendly it may damage the plastic and become brittle when using ozone or if you dose to much.

you also need to be very carful when using ozone not only for your health but to much of it can wipeout your tank

Another happy TMC O3 user, looks sleek at well. No problems at all for the last 6 months, easy to clean as well (Did that for the first time this weekend)

Does it affect skimmer performance adding a length of hose between the skimmer air inlet and the ozonizer?
