Started filling the tank Monday night, RO units going round the clock, I reckon it should take around 2 weeks to fill.
I have set up a large tank with the live rock in, Octopuss has been let loose in it, and is currently removing any crabs, Mantis etc.
Just have to wait for the Octo to do his job and the tank to fill and I can start the Aquascaping.

The water change system is going to consist of 2 identical tanks sat side by side in line with the sump system. 1 tank will be on the system at all times whilst the other has the new salt water in. I will be able to take off 1 tank from the system via a valve and instantley put the fresh salt water back through the system by swapping wich tank is live. The tanks will take turns being run on the system. I have a external pump with 2 inlets 1 in each tank , by shutting off a tank with another valve, i can then turn the pump on to empty the old salt water straight to the drain. Then refill with RO and add salt, bring to temp and ready for the next change.
Should work out well, I hope.

I think you may be right Mo. I was talking with Lee about the tank and he said a few people had used this method of Crab removal.
Ime just enjoying having the Octo to look at. He is amazing and getting quite bold now.
