They are actually all the same scape I wish I had a bit more ceramic to make a few small overhangs.

Cheers Kris, I'm OK for eggcrate now mate. It was for making a tiny media basket for the pico.
I'll keep the photos coming Suggsy, even if just for my records to see hows it's progressed. The scape will probably change a little once I get the tank but it will be near enough along the same lines. In contrast to yours mine is only 26 inches off the floor, had to go low to get the length in due to the rake of the staircase. It turned out OK though as it's eye level when I sit in my seat on the sofa

Cheers Rocky,
Well I'm hoping the tank itself will arrive by the end of the month. Once it's here I can finalise the scape and start cycling the ceramics. They have been pre soaked to remove phosphates and silicates but I'll do them again to be sure. The tank will be sumped and it will be as big as I can get away with. I'm hoping to get 100l+ in the sump if I can. I'm seriously considering using an Algae Scrubber as I have seen good results on various forums, no hair algae outbreaks, low nitrates and phosphates and still retain alot of pod life. Lighting will be a homemade Cree LED fitting with a mix of cool white, neutral white, blue and royal blue LED's. As for corals it will be a mixed reef so choice softies, mainly LPS but maybe SPS later on if/when things have settled down. Undecided on fish stock to be honest, it won't be anything too radical just the usual bread and butter stuff but I have promised SWMBO pick most of the fish!!

Clowns are a dead cert mate probably the black and white ones though. I'm sure a Flame Angel will be on the list too as I know she likes them and yes I know Dwarf Angels can be funny with corals.
Who knows, if the fish stocking plans change as much as the size and position of this tank I have a long way to go yet!

Picked up a sump today, should add a nice bit of extra water volume. I reckon it's big enough... 40x24x14 inches.
