I may not like the answer, but what are these

I have 100s of them in my tank, they are on every piece of ceramic





Can anyone ID them for me please, they are like small feather dusters.

If you're on about the small feathers all over then they're just little tube worms I think. They're filter feeders and are fine.

I have 1000's of them even over my sandbed and like them,copperbands love them but i wouldnt bother with one of them

Try a wrasse from the halichoeres family. They are usually peaceful and are reef safe but to like to eat worms.

But feathers are good! But understand if they are spreading to huge populations.

Vikky, they are on my sand bed and every piece or rock in my tank, copper bands eat them you say?, I want them gone, I've got to thinking they are hydroids, can you tell me I'm wrong PLEASE

I cant tell from the pic mate 100% what they are but a sign of a healthy system and considering your using ceramics would have thought a welcome sight,it means the ceramics are coming to life understand though if they bug you we all have our little crazy quirks
