expanding foam!!
im sure this has prob been brought up in the past but im finding mixed info and opinions,
has anyone used it??? can i just use the stuff from b&q????? my reason for asking is to help me in building my bommy with my home made rock... any info links or build threads will be helpfull... in the meantime im going to carry on searching the web for info thanks in advance matt

yes the stuff from B&Q is fine. There are 2 tanks I can think of straight away that have used it, I'll look for links now.

expanding foam!!
 Liverock attached to egg crate expanding foam all gaps and then a resin is used to seal and covered with fine sand/substrate for effect

my reason for thinking this is i can make a bommy and then use my fake rock mix to go over the top so it holds it down and also just looks like rock work..... if it sticks to the foam that is.... think i will have to experiment in the week cheers chaps

I used polyfill but not ever foam from a diy store is safe. I forget of the name of the chemical you have to look for sorry.
